KAKA BACKS NEYMAR TO MAKE RIGHT CAREER MOVE

Brazilian football star Kaka is backing his compatriot Neymar to make the best career move amid reports that French side Paris St Germain want to lure the player from the Nou Camp.

The former Brazil international admits that Neymar faces a tough task in deciding his next move when he exits Barcelona.

The Ligue 1 side are keen on meeting the outrageous €222 million release clause Neymar has on his deal. Head coach Unai Emery, who joined from former Europa League champions Sevilla, identified the player as one that could help him deliver his Champions League target.

Neymar was reportedly open to moving to Parc des Princes despite agreeing a five year deal last October with the Nou Camp. Since arriving at the Catalan side from Brazil he has netted over 100 goals but he has recently grown unsettled in Spain.

Key figures at the club have tried to convince Neymar to stay at Barcelona. When asked Kaka said: “In this period of the season when the market is open, there is lot of speculation. Big number, everybody wants the big players and of course Neymar is one of them.

“But it is a personal choice. I don’t know what is in his mind or what he wants, if he thinks his time in Barca is finishing and it’s time to move.”

The Ballon d’Or winner said wherever the player decided to play, he would be fine there. Kaka said it is not always easy to decide what was best for one’s career – and he should know having played for AC Milan and Real Madrid before moving to the MLS.

For now Neymar grabbed a brace as Barca defeated Juventus 2-1 at the International Champions Cup.
