Brazil have had some truly phenomenal players over the years. From that Carlos Alberto goal in the 1970 World Cup final to Ronaldinho’s dazzling feet in more recent times, the five-time World Cup winners have been blessed with quality. Football in Brazil isn’t just a sport, it is a religion and nobody personifies Brazilian football more than Kaka.

At the ripe old age of 35, Kaka is still performing at a high level. Looking directly at his statistics, Kaka is still capable of holding his own at Major League Soccer level and The Lions will be forever grateful for his impact so shortly after the club’s formation. Who knows, Jason Kreis’ men might even compete for MLS glory this season. Orlando are currently sixth in the Eastern Conference; just five points behind third placed New York City FC. With Kaka steering the ship and avoiding any lengthy injuries, The Lions might challenge for silverware. As of July 21st, Orlando are 20/1 to win the MLS Cup this season – Kaka will be keen to lead the franchise to a trophy before departing.
