Kaka Set To Spend 6 Month Loan At Sao Paulo
Former Brazilian midfielder Kaka recently made his second debut for São Paulo, as he prepares to spend the next six months on loan at the club where he began his career. After recently signing for MLS outfit Orlando, Kaka has decided to spend the next six months on loan at São Paulo in order to keep up his fitness. Orlando will not be taking part in MLS until the 2015 season. The presence of Kaka has helped São Paulo rediscover the form with especially striker Alexandre Pato being in the goals once again. The former AC Milan forward was brought to Brazilian football for around £ 12 million, but he has been disappointing so far.
Pato is currently on loan at São Paulo after his fallout with Corinthians. He appears to have rediscovered his form with his new club as he has scored seven goals in 20 appearances. Midfielder Josef de Souza Dias is of the opinion that the presence of Kaka has helped Pato rediscover his form. Pato and Kaka played with each other at AC Milan. Kaka was already a super star when a signed for the Italian club as a teenager. Their relationship appears to have been rekindled following Kaka’s move to São Paulo. Three wins in the last five matches has put São Paulo fourth in the table.
"I may be wrong, but the arrival of Kaká greatly helped Pato. Encouragement, fellowship, Kaká is always talking to him. Against Criciúma he created the opportunities but unfortunately Pato couldn’t finishing. Yesterday the ball went in. He had a little more tranquility too. Yesterday we saw Pato helping and not losing the ball. This is not only what Muricy and the board expect of him, but also the Brazilian nation. Pato is a player of selection. On the field, unfortunately, he was not managing a good sequence,” said Souza.
