Kaka confirms that he would return to AC Milan in the future

AC Milan legend Kaka has confirmed that he would one day return to the Rossoneri with a view to taking up the role of a director. The Brazilian called quits on his professional career at the end of the previous year and the Rossoneri are understood to have since made contact with him regarding a hierarchical role without much success.

Speaking to Mediotempo, Kaka stressed that he is currently focused on other duties which includes ambassadorial work and spending time with his family but he could return to the Rossoneri at some stage in the future, he said: “Currently I'm focusing on other projects and I've traveled to many places. My relationship with Milan is very close, we’re always close, but I don’t know what will happen. I’ll be back, the only certainty I have is that I’ll work there one day, but I don’t know when.”

Meanwhile, the Rossoneri started the season in a rather slow fashion where they were lying at the bottom half of the standings but an impressive run of results thereafter have helped them jump to the top end of the table. Gennaro Gattuso’s side recently picked up a 2-1 triumph over Parma at the San Siro and the result has propelled them to fourth on the standings ahead of Lazio, who managed a third straight stalemate over the weekend. Milan’s next game comes against Torino at home on Sunday and the game offers them the opportunity to cement the fourth position for another matchday.
