NO AC RETURN
The vice president of AC Milan, Adriano Galliani, has said that his club is not planning to sign Kaka and David Beckham during the mid season transfer window.
Milan was reported to be interested in buying these two superstars. But, Galliani has said that these reports are not true at all.
Beckham had played for Milan in 2009 and 2010 on loan. He featured for Milan in 29 matches during the two tenures and scored two goals.
On the other hand, Kaka had played for Milan for six years between 2003 and 2009. The Brazilian midfielder had performed brilliantly during his tenure at Milan and helped them to win a lot of trophies. He played 193 matches for Milan and found the net on 70 occasions. These numbers clearly indicate that he was a consistent performer for Milan.
Kaka currently plays for Real Madrid, but, in his recent interviews, he has made it clear that he is not feeling comfortable in the Madrid camp at this point of time and he won’t mind leaving the club. Kaka also said that if he is offered a contract by the Milan management, he will be more than happy to return to his former club.
When asked about his chances of returning to Milan, Kaka said, “They haven’t approached me till now, but, if they give me an offer, I will be happy to accept it and return there.”
“My tenure at Milan was really amazing. I had a lot of success there.”
When Galliani was asked if his club is looking to sign Beckham and Kaka, he said, “No, we are not planning to sign them. They are star players and they would demand high weekly salary. We are not in a condition to offer them high wages. So, there is not much possibility of these two players signing for Milan during the mid season transfer window.”
